How to Tie a Ring Knot

Fold your square scarf into a triangle.
Step

Grasp the pointed end that lies directly across from the crease, and fold it over repeatedly on itself to form a 2-inch band.

Hang the scarf around your neck so that one end falls 6 inches longer than the other.

Tie a knot in this longer end.
Step

Adjust the scarf so that the knot is now directly in front of your throat and the longer end wraps behind to the back of your neck.

Slide the shorter end around your neck and through the knot you made. Bring it around to the back of your neck.

Tie the ends together, tucking the knot under the scarf to hide it.
